Welcome to our website! Depot Square Publishing has been in business since 1994, publishing books on northeastern railroad history while
offering a selection of complimentary titles from other transportation publishers.
The popular series, SCENES ALONG THE RAILS, takes a look at the pre-1925 era of railroading during the Golden Age of Steam. Using vintage
illustrations and other ephemera, the impact of railroads on the towns and villages served within a given region is portrayed.
Our new series, RAILROADS OVER TIME, debuted in October 2004. That is when we released the first title which covered the most
scenic portion of Metro-North’s Hudson Division: between Poughkeepsie and Oscawana, NY. Whereas SCENES ALONG THE RAILS shows
what once was, RAILROADS OVER TIME brings the story full-circle. Antique black & white photographs through contemporary color
from largely unpublished sources are used to depict the evolution of a railroad from its inception through the modern age of
steam, diesel, and electric operations.
We manufacture all of our own books in the Unites States of America.

line our shelves. We would be happy to special order any book currently in print as well as assist you with locating rare and out-of-print titles.
